DEFINE MEDICAL AESTHETICS

Kristen is a registered nurse and the owner of Defined Medical Aesthetics, a welcoming space on Six Nations where clients can feel comfortable exploring services such as Botox, microneedling, filler, and vitamin shots. Her passion for health and wellness, paired with her desire to help people feel more confident, is at the heart of everything she does. For Kristen, medical aesthetics is not just about appearance. It is about creating a supportive environment where people feel cared for, informed, and at ease.

Kristen first pursued nursing because of her love for helping and supporting others. After becoming a registered nurse, she worked in the hospital and later in dialysis in the community, where she found even more meaning in caring for people close to home. Her path into aesthetics began through research and training, and what started as a leap of faith quickly became something she deeply connected with. Although she did not know at first how people would respond, she chose to move forward and build something new.

One of the things Kristen enjoys most is educating clients and helping them feel comfortable asking questions about treatments that can often feel intimidating or misunderstood. She values being able to talk openly with people about their goals and insecurities in a space that feels safe and welcoming. As an Indigenous woman operating on Six Nations Reserve, she says it means a great deal to offer these services within the community she grew up in and continues to love.

“Sometimes you just have to go for it, and be confident in yourself. If it’s something that you’re passionate about, you can do it.”
