You need to have a minimum of 50.1% ownership of the business
· Certificate of Indian Status (“Status Card”) issued by the Government of Canada; or,
· Métis Nation of Ontario membership* card, or another Métis provincial governing body affiliated with the Métis National Council*; or,
· Inuk/Inuit membership card (recognized though Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami); or,
· For Non-registered, long-form birth certificate(s) plus a Certificate of Indian Status (Status Card) of a parent or a grandparent.
To establish or expand your business you will need to demonstrate relevant experience, possess sufficient equity, the ability to repay, and most importantly, demonstrate commercial viability of your business idea through a business plan.
You must be approved for a Two Rivers CDC loan, there are no 100% grant dollar solutions.
You must apply for a Two Rivers CDC loan first. If your loan is approved and grant dollars are available they will be applied at that time.
