Michelle Farmer, owner of Michelle Farmer’s Studio of Dance and Modelling, where she proudly celebrates 50 years of teaching. Her studio is the only one of its kind located on a reserve in Canada, offering a wide range of classes including tap, ballet, lyrical dance, modeling, and more.
Michelle’s passion for dance and teaching was evident early on. After her father passed away when she was young, he left behind a powerful gift: he had seen her dedication and vision for teaching and surprised her by building a dance studio in the basement of their home. She was just 14 years old. That space became the foundation for her lifelong journey as an educator and mentor.

Today, Michelle continues to teach out of that very studio, welcoming students of all ages. For her, it’s about more than movement, it’s about building confidence, showmanship, and passion. “Being a woman means having the power to pursue whatever you love,” she says. “If you ever lose your passion, it’s okay to pause and find a new way to keep going.”

Michelle makes it a point to personally connect with every student who walks through her doors. Her studio is not just a place to learn but a community built on encouragement, creativity, and growth.
Step into Michelle Farmer’s Studio of Dance and Modelling and become part of a legacy that continues to inspire, one dancer at a time.
